Fortane MBA
Fortane MBA Polyurethane Moisture Barrier Adhesive is a premium, all-in-one urethane adhesive that requires no preinstallation moisture testing. Fortane MBA provides robust adhesion as well as moisture and sound control. It is ideal for all types of glue-down wood flooring including: engineered, solid, bamboo, crumb rubber and cork acoustic underlayments. This user-friendly adhesive combines easy troweling with superior ridge retention in a fast-setting, high tack formulation.
Recommended Substrates
- Fortane MBA can be used over the following subfloors: concrete, Portland cement patch, terrazzo, ceramic tile, APA approved wood panels, radiant heat flooring, and cement backer board.
Recommended Flooring Type
- Fortane MBA is ideal for glue-down installations on all grades, types and sizes of engineered and solid wood flooring that are designed to be installed using the glue down installation method that may require protection from damage due to subfloor moisture transmissions. When used as an Adhesive & Moisture Barrier, Fortane MBA reduces moisture to acceptable limits.
